Schnebly Redland’s Winery & Brewery: A Tropical Winemaking and Brewery Destination in South Florida

  • February 2026

Nestled in the heart of the Redlands countryside just outside Homestead, Schnebly Redland’s Winery & Brewery offers a truly unique experience that blends tropical agriculture with craft beverage production. Founded by Peter and Denisse Schnebly in the early 2000s on their family farm, this destination has grown into the southernmost winery in the continental United States, celebrated for its fruit-forward wines and vibrant setting.

Unlike traditional wineries that rely on grapes, Schnebly’s craft wines are made from South Florida’s abundant tropical fruits—including lychee, guava, mango, passionfruit, starfruit, and even avocado—resulting in a colorful and flavorful portfolio that reflects the region’s climate and spirit. Guests can explore more than 20 exotic wine varieties in the Grand Tasting Room, a striking space surrounded by lush tropical foliage, natural coral waterfalls, and classic tiki huts that create a serene, island-like ambiance.

In addition to its distinctive wines, the property features the Miami Brewing Company, a craft brewery that complements the winery with inventive beers inspired by Miami’s vibrant culture and flavors. Visitors can enjoy flights of beers such as coconut-infused ales and tropical wheat brews, alongside their wine tasting experience.

Dining at Schnebly’s is another highlight. The on-site Redlander Restaurant offers farm-to-table cuisine for lunch, dinner, and weekend brunches beneath an open-air thatched canopy. The menu celebrates local produce with creative dishes that pair beautifully with Schnebly’s wines and Miami Brewing Co. beers.

The winery also hosts live music, seasonal events such as Golden Hour Fridays, Latin nights, and special celebrations, making it a lively spot for both locals and visitors. Whether you’re sipping a tropical wine by the waterfall, enjoying craft beers with friends, or dining in an unforgettable setting, Schnebly’s offers a vibrant taste of South Florida’s countryside.
