THE HONORABLE SCHOOL BOARD VICE CHAIR AND DISTRICT 8 REPRESENTATIVE MS. MONICA COLUCCI WAS RECOGNIZED BY THE FLORIDA HIGH SCHOOL ATHLETIC ASSOCIATION (FHSAA) FOR HER SERVICE AS PRESIDENT OF THE FHSAA BOARD OF DIRECTORS FROM 2023 TO 2025
At the April 22, 2026, School Board Meeting, Vice Chair Monica Colucci was formally recognized by the Florida High School Athletic Association (FHSAA) for her distinguished service as President of the FHSAA Board of Directors from 2023 to 2025.
Vice Chair Colucci received a special award presented by Craig Damon, Executive Director of the FHSAA, who honored her exemplary leadership and steadfast commitment during her tenure as Board President.
“I am truly honored to be recognized by the Florida High School Athletic Association,” said Vice Chair Colucci. “Serving as Board President from 2023 to 2025 provided a meaningful opportunity to support student-athletes, strengthen educational athletics, and advance the vital role athletics play in students’ lives across our state. I am deeply grateful to the Florida High School Athletic Association for this recognition and to Executive Director Craig Damon for presenting this award.”
Throughout her service with the FHSAA, Vice Chair Colucci demonstrated a strong commitment to expanding opportunities that foster teamwork, discipline, leadership, and excellence among student-
athletes.
