
Bright, fresh citrus is at its peak in Florida this time of year, making this quick shrimp dish light, flavorful, and ideal for a winter evening.
INGREDIENTS
- 1 lb fresh shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- Zest and juice of 1 orange
- Zest and juice of 1 lime
- 1 tsp honey
- ½ tsp chili flakes (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp fresh cilantro or parsley, chopped
INSTRUCTIONS
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
Add shrimp to the pan, seasoning with salt, pepper, and chili flakes. Cook 2–3 minutes per side until shrimp turn pink.
Stir in orange juice, lime juice, citrus zests, and honey. Let simmer for 1–2 minutes until slightly reduced and glossy.
Remove from heat and sprinkle with fresh herbs before serving.
