After having her little girl, Dr. Rina S. Santiago-Guia thought she would give her career some time off. Instead, she was presented with an opportunity to start an amazing business while still being able to care for her daughter, Shaily Sofia Guia.
While working in the field as a Licensed Psychologist, Dr. Santiago-Guia observed that most families needed more than just one service and often would end up having to attend different facilities to obtain these services. Why not have them all in one spot she thought? Medication management, speech therapy, individual therapy, diagnostic testing, family therapy, marriage therapy, couples therapy, ABA therapy, why go to several different places to obtain these services when you can get them all in one location?
On November 7, 2016, this vision to create a center that would provide all mental health and medical services in one place emerged. But why stop there? Monarch All Health also became a center that focuses on nurturing entrepreneurs, careers, family and fun for its providers.
From its inception Monarch All Health has recruited providers with the entrepreneur spirit. They have provided the resources, situational leadership, clinical direction, and supervision needed while eliminating the risk of owning a business. By allowing the provider to be in control of their professional career and success, they are better able to focus on patient care.
Starting a business while raising a child was no small task, but to Dr. Santiago-Guia worth every strive and effort it took to get them to where they are today. Monarch All Health has grown organically and has matured into a beautiful tree, one which continues to flourish and develop new branches full of exciting opportunities for all of those with the motivation and drive.
