The City of Homestead invites residents and visitors to one of South Florida’s most anticipated Independence Day traditions, the annual Race to the 4th, taking place on Saturday, July 4, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM at Homestead-Miami Speedway. With free admission and free parking, this long-standing celebration continues to be a premier Fourth of July destination for families across the region.
For years, Race to the 4th has brought together thousands of attendees for an unforgettable evening of patriotic pride, live entertainment, and community spirit. This year’s celebration takes on even greater significance as the nation commemorates the America 250 Anniversary, honoring 250 years since the founding of the United States.
Guests can enjoy a full lineup of exciting activations, including:
• The Best Fireworks Show in South Florida
• New Drone Show illuminating the night sky
• Live Music and Entertainment throughout the event
• Kids & Art Zone with family-friendly fun
• Interactive Fan Zone celebrating the big soccer match of 2026

Race to the 4th has become known as one of the best places in South Florida to celebrate Independence Day, combining the energy of a major venue with the hometown pride of the Homestead community.
