The South Dade Chamber of Commerce hosted its July Monthly Luncheon, Freedom to Thrive, bringing members and community leaders together for a conversation on growth, resilience, and the spirit of South Dade.
The program featured Jose Gonzalez, Vice President of Strive305, Miami-Dade Beacon Council, and Amaris Hess of New Hope CORPS. Together, they offered two meaningful perspectives on what it means to thrive as individuals, business leaders, and as a community, today.
Jose highlighted South Dade’s life’s journey honoring his mother to his service in the military to now serving the business community- built by people who took risks, created opportunities, and stayed rooted in place, pride, and perseverance.
Amaris brought an important wellness perspective, reminding attendees that true resilience also includes mental health, adaptability, and the strength to keep moving forward through all challenges.
South Dade Chamber has their monthly luncheons the Third Thursday of every month. Hope to see you next month!
