
South Miami-Dade has plenty of ways to celebrate America’s 250th birthday this Fourth of July weekend. Here are a few favorites.
- Cutler Bay 4th of July Parade & Picnic — Saturday, July 4, 8:00 a.m. to noon — Whispering Pines Park, Cutler Bay. Free. A beloved hometown parade and picnic, a tradition for more than 50 years.
- Deering Estate’s 4th of July Celebration — Saturday and Sunday, July 4–5, 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. — Deering Estate, Palmetto Bay. $8 admission. Historic bayfront grounds with family activities and holiday fun.
- South Miami’s 4th of July: America’s 250th Celebration — Saturday, July 4, 5:00 to 9:30 p.m. — Palmer Park, South Miami. Free. Live music, food, and a festive evening for the whole family.
- Race to the 4th — Saturday, July 4, 5:00 to 10:00 p.m. — Homestead-Miami Speedway, Homestead. An Independence Day party at the Speedway with family activities and fireworks.
- Adventure Day: Summer Fun — Saturday, July 4, 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. — Fruit & Spice Park, Homestead. Explore the tropical park with summer family activities.
