PINECREST GETS SPOOKY: PINECREST ZOMBIE RUN RETURNS OCT. 17
Get ready to run for your life! The zombies are taking over Pinecrest on Saturday, Oct. 17, when the family-friendly Pinecrest Zombie Run returns to Evelyn Greer Park.
The two-mile adventure begins at 6:00 p.m., sending runners through the streets of Pinecrest as they dodge zombies along the course. Check-in starts at 4:30 p.m., with a warm-up at 5:45 p.m.
The evening promises plenty of spooky fun beyond the run, including a 40-foot zombie maze, photo booth, music, games and more. Refreshments will be available for purchase, and runners will receive an event T-shirt while supplies last. Costumes are encouraged, so come dressed as your favorite monster, superhero – or zombie!
Registration is $20 during the early-bird period through Sept. 8, $25 from Sept. 9 through Oct. 16, and $30 on event day. You can also volunteer at this event.
