Collaboration has always been at the heart of meaningful change, and this month, CPWorks and the Omni Community Redevelopment Agency (Omni CRA) celebrated an exciting new chapter in their partnership.
Founded in 1995, Chapman Partnership operates two Homeless Assistance Centers in Miami-Dade County, providing housing, meals, healthcare, job training, and placement services to men, women, and children experiencing homelessness. A four-star charity as rated by Charity Navigator, the organization partners with the Miami-Dade County Homeless Trust to help individuals and families build stable, self-sufficient futures. Established in 1987, the Omni Community Redevelopment Agency works to revitalize Miami’s Omni district through investment in affordable housing, small business grants, economic development, and historic preservation, transforming underutilized spaces into thriving community assets.
During a special luncheon attended by Commissioner Damian Pardo and leadership from both organizations, Chapman Partnership’s CPWorks program and Omni CRA officially unveiled the Community Impact Team, a new name that reflects the strength, purpose, and shared vision behind their ongoing collaboration.

While the name is new, the mission remains the same: creating pathways to employment, expanding opportunities, and helping individuals build brighter futures through workforce development and community engagement.
The introduction of the Community Impact Team recognizes the collective effort of partners, employers, community leaders, and participants who work together every day to create lasting impact. It also underscores a shared commitment to investing in people, strengthening connections, and supporting economic mobility throughout the community.
“The luncheon was an opportunity to celebrate our partnership’s successes, reflect on how far we’ve come, and look ahead to the opportunities still in front of us,” said Alex Paz, VP of Education and Workforce Development. “With the support of community leaders like Commissioner Pardo and dedicated partners across Miami-Dade County, the Community Impact Team is poised to continue making a difference in the lives of individuals and families for years to come.”
