A MORNING OF GRATITUDE
Some mornings are about business. This one was about service.
At Mon Petit Gardens, the South Dade Chamber dedicated the morning to honoring the men and women who answer the call every day. First responders, business leaders, elected officials, community partners, and supporters filled the room in recognition of service, sacrifice, leadership, and commitment.
Throughout the program, honorees representing agencies across South Dade were recognized for the impact they make within our community.
The morning also included a special recognition of Guillermo Santa Cruz, President of Homestead-Miami Speedway, for his longstanding support of first responders and public safety initiatives throughout the region. From supporting law enforcement programs and community activations to creating opportunities that strengthen the connection between first responders and residents, his work reflects the spirit of partnership this event was created to celebrate.
Most importantly, the breakfast served as a reminder behind every badge, uniform, and title is a person who has chosen a life of service.
To every first responder who protects, serves, responds, and shows up for South Dade — Thank You!
Your service is seen. Your sacrifice is appreciated. And your community stands with you!
